Kostas Beveratos exhibits his projects "The type error news" @ Booze Cooperativa, 30 April - 10 may, daily by 11:00 a.m.
The projects include photographs, video, text and installations. An extract follows of his interview to Angelique Krinaias
in relation to the programmed exhibition:
>> Q/ «We are discussing your point of view a lot, but finally what is the aesthetic value of your work?»
A/ «You must understand my work is my point of view. The very same fact of te exhibition at Booze Cooperativa
on the 30th of April, but also whatever preceded or will follow is an advertisement of my point of view.
»Firstly I would like to suggest to you to concentrate on the moon and not on the finger that points to it.
But if that is too demanding of me and you don't really want to know nothing more than just the finger, I
promise you that the finger alone will be really exciting.
»Newscasters like you never have seen them before, stars of show business pretending to be dustmen, and together,
weapon industries, politicians, civil servants, clergymen, revolutionaries, communists, journalists, editors and
Athens Academy. »All these people combined to a weird media mystagogy that will bombard your senses.».
